Rooted in Bogotá: Born and raised in the city, always trying to understand its culture and the broader world. A Decade Abroad: Spent 10 years outside Colombia, traveling and studying, seeking a deeper grasp on reality—though not fully succeeding. International Relations Perspective: Gained political and historical insights into regional blocs, but realized the world remained complex and elusive. Master’s in International Economics: Learned about managing scarce resources and global finance models, yet concluded economics alone doesn’t unlock a full understanding of humanity. Rediscovering Colombia: Returned home to find that despite structural flaws, the country offers color, resilience, and famously kind people—an insight confirmed by travelers and global impressions. Work in International Institutions: Collaborated with vulnerable communities under the United Nations Development Program, observing firsthand the human spirit that overcomes adversity. Curiosity and Philosophical Quest: Continues studying the history of ideas in philosophy, believing that genuine understanding emerges from people’s shared experiences. Vision for Visitors: Aims to communicate a better version of Colombia by enhancing each traveler’s experience, helping them navigate local obstacles and leave with a positive image of the country.
